Damn it, it's happening again.

I've spent the last week downloading mods more often than I have been playing the game. It was the same for Fallout 3.

 

Has this happened to anyone else before?

It's the same way for me. I haven't played NV in a little over a week, because some judicious quicksaving corrupted my file.

 

Starting over again is a bit daunting, and I haven't been up to it.

 

So, I just keep downloading and installing mods, but I haven't actually played.

Yes. As it turns out, I have begun learning more and more because of this. How to test mods faster, but more efficiently. I am fine tuning the series of mods currently installed for the girlfriend to use once I PCS.

 

Right now, after two weeks of installing and testing and separately saving saves in different areas with folders labeled "Saves without FOOK NV" or "Save with FOOK NV and Nevada Skies and RTS NV".... I have many that finally work together with few CTD's.

 

CTD's are gonna happen, mainly because of the mods I have working in tandem. But as long as the saving occurs... my list is nearly perfect (in my eyes).

Could be worse, old chap, could be worse. I, for example, spend more time editing meshes and textures than playing and downloading combined :P

Yeah I havent played in about 2 months but keep checking daily for new mods and mod updates lol. Think with the new DLC though I might give it another run through soon.

It happened to me a little while, yes. But, I'm back playing the game now ;)
