jhelzei
So I sided with the Railroad, and boarded the Prydwen with a few bombs. Kells figures out I'm an intruder, and the BOS starts attacking. As I'm fighting the Brotherhood, I notice that there are some figures running around that I can't target with VATS. I figure out that they're children. So I wrap up the fight, and try to talk to the kids. Nada. Can't interact. So I plant the bombs, disembark from the blimp and detonate it. This disturbed me for a few reasons. Firstly, the message I seem to be getting from the game is that it's wrong to shoot children, but it's OK to blow them up. As far as I can tell, there's no way to get the kids off the blimp. Why did Bethesda even put them there in the first place? Did I run into a bug that I couldn't talk to the kids? Did I miss some plot device that gets them off the Prydwen before it blows up? Is it really necessary to destroy the airship if I already killed Kells, Maxson and the entire crew? Athanasa
I assume it's just another way to make you feel like a terrible person no matter what ending you take.
