ImperialMan2
I downloaded the full archive off of Morrowind mod history and installed the texture pack. Most of the areas in the game use the new textures, however some areas are just using the vanilla textures (most notably Ascadian Isles) Is this how its supposed to be or am I doing something wrong? Thanks Edited March 15, 2016 by ImperialMan2
dungeom
You mean Connary's Textures vFinal (No BSA)? There is no Ascadian Isles in it. If you check the folders, in Landscapes there's only:- Bitter Coast- Caves- Grazelands- Molag Amur- West Gash Connarys pack is NOT a total texture replacer. You can try to download Visual Pack Combined 3.0 RC1 (personally I prefer it as a fundament) that will replace alot, if not almost all textures, and then override it with Connarys if you like them. But to tell you the truth Connarys textures are pretty old and not in 2K for the most part. There is a lot of great replacers, like Arkitektora series (very lore friendly) - http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/users/3281858/?tb=mods&pUp=1 But to each their own. ImperialMan2
Thanks, I tried the visual pack but I didnt really like it, everything felt like someone took a picture of some leaves and applied as a ground texture, but knowing now that connary's pack doesnt replace all textures I look for some other ones to fill in the rest
dungeom
Oh, for ground textures I can recommend Landscape Retexture by Lougianhttp://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42575/?its in 1K or 2K and looks pretty nice to me. But it's also photo-like, so you might not want it :(Thinking of it now, I doubt I've seen any other kind of textures for the ground, usually it's like this.
