Backstory for your Character?

Sorry, english is my second language.

 

Do any of you make a back story for your character that you play as? I certainly do, most of them are from RP's I used to do in text that I've just decided to make in Oblivion. How about you people?

Life is Brutal

 

Brutal gro-Bash is the son of a farmer living near the ruins of Sardavar Leed, south of the Imperial City on the shore of Lake Rumare. He was brought up with a good work ethic and the normal biases you would expect of someone who makes a living through hard work. His father always envisioned Brutal taking over the farm one day, until the heavy spring flood came last year and wiped the farm out. Brutal’s folks moved back to Orsinium and he, while still maintaining the family homestead, went to Chorrol looking for work. He was advised by Emfrid at the Grey Mare to inquire at the fighter’s guild and after talking to Kurz gro-Baroth, he signed up as a member. He enjoyed the travel involved with guild work and was able to visit many of the larger cities. While doing so, he worked hard on his fighting skills and in his spare time participated in the arena in the Imperial City. But, when visiting Anvil, a life changing event unfolded. He met a prophet there and undertook a quest to retrieve the relics of the Crusader. Now that he has collect all of them, he must face Umaril, an ancient Ayleid king that is seeking vengeance upon the Gods who banished him.

Is the part about the profit real? Is it actually a quest? Do you need a mod to do that quest?

 

 

 

My character.

 

The orphan of a drunkard who died in a brawl, orphan of a mother who was a gang member that got stabbed by a watch member. Grew up wander the streets and stealing food from inns. One night, wandering in the city, he went into the feed bag when he was young. He had a few beers and got walloped on the head by the gaurd when he picked a fight with a fighters guild member. He woke up in prison, fought to get out, and has spent most of his time since seeking money as a gladiator and thief. One day an elf offered him money to kill a man in Skingrad. It worked out well because we both hated Totius Sextius. That night, Lucien Lechance came to him, and told him he would be payed to kill people. He obliged the man in the killing of Ruffio, and has since basked in blood, strife, confusion, and other's greif.

As a matter of fact, I do, seeing as for some reason, it puts more of a......"reason" to be playing it in the first place.

Hebrindel "Rosethorn" Jadysvel'irana

Kown as: "The Rose's Thorn"(due to leaving a Rose of Sithis every time I kill someone in the dark brotherhood quests) and " The Charming Dimentia"(due to his uncanny ability to make many believe that madness(and anything else for that matter) can be viewed as a blessing), and the "Jester", because he makes your last day, a happy one.

 

One day, Waking up in a prison cell, I looked down in an attempt to remember where I was, and for that matter, "who". Looking around, I spotted a Dark Elf across from the cell near me, and came to ask him, only to be hit with a hard truth, I could be executed. Luckily for me, that was not the case and the emporer himself befriended me, and for that I have sworn never to kill someone whom considered me or I considered him/her, to be a friend. The empoerer was killed that day, and I made sure that his killer would not get away. Before the emporer died I was entrusted with the famed "Amulet of Kings". After doing all that I could to return the emporer's heir to his rightful place, I began to "feel", something. Something unexpected, like that feeling you get when you don't give a care. I began only to care for contacts and for friends, anyone else, was a target. After killing a beggar for his attempts to steal some gold from me, I was contacted by a member of the "Dark Brotherhood". I accepted his offer, and to this day, I am the one sithis personally "talks" to, for his "dirty work"

Prophet: one who utters divinely inspired revelations

 

Profit: a valuable return

 

Yes, the 'prophet' is from the Knights of the Nine official add-on. It's a very well done quest and I recommend it. It's tailored for a Lawful Good character, but I did run my assassin through it too. You just have to be a goody two-shoes for the length of the quest. Since she's completed the quest, she reverted back to her black old ways and can't wear the armor any longer.
