icthulu
I am having trouble isolating the issue I am having with mods and the bandit leader surrendering. It seems to work fine without but the stealing mods for v1.03, but I added a few more aesthetic ones and bug fixes, the bandit leader will no longer surrender. Can anyone give me a hand or advice with v1.03 DA:O? naomis8329
Looking at the list you've given I would suggest taking off Dialogue TweaksThe Pearl RedoneAdvanced Tactics If they are not the culprit take of all mods except for the hair and other cosmetic mods and then add each mod you want back in one at a time at the point you are having trouble. Try and complete it if it works then you know it isn't the problem. Add the next and redo. You must use a test save at the point you're having problems with for example, take off the mods, save and then test, if it works you know that one of the mods you've removed is the culprit. Then add. It takes time but once you find it, let the creator of the mod know and they may be able to sort out the problem. I know that advanced tactics plays havoc with the quests in Redcliffe when you go back to it so that is why I suggest you take it off first with Dialogue Tweaks as that can cause a couple of problems too. Good luck and let me know how you get onNaomi
icthulu
Thanks. I was hoping for a little experience with this matter. But I know how it is with multiple mods. They don't individually cause it, but once you start burying the base under add-ons, things start getting really weird. I'll have to resign myself to do it the old fashioned way, thank you for the advice, it's what is really needed to be done.
naomis8329
In my experience lol, it is usually the only way to do things. Take out the obvious and if they're not the problem makers then take out all the rest except for cosmetics and start again. Time consuming but it works. Then send the creator a pm with a list of mods you have on and a description of the problem (along with any other mods that also cause the same problem if any). They're usually cool people and will look into it and try to replicate the problem to sort it. Sorry but sometimes the tried and tested methods are the only ones to go with lol. Have fun xxx
