Novice Magic Spells

Yeah, so I've had some problems with this in the past. It's really irritating when I want to enchant a weapon with Soul Trap (plus some other enchantment) and I don't have a working Soul Trap spell (because I'm a novice at Mysticism) I've looked around all the mages guild, and the spells are usually out of my league.

 

So this is something like a list, which goes like this:

 

Destruction:

Novice Spell: Flare

Location: You start off with it (I think, I know Breton and Dark Elves start off with that spell, along with Heal Minor Wounds)

 

Restoration:

Novice Spell: Heal Minor Wounds

Location: You start off with it.

 

Illusion:

Novice Spell: I think there's a charm spell or two a novice can use at the Bravil mages guild.

Location: Bravil

 

Now, this is where some people get the most trouble. I have no idea where to obtain novice Mysticism spells (a soul trap one specifically), novice Conjuration spells and novice Alteration spells ( I think all the types of magic, if I missed any, feel free to correct me :3 )

 

Anyway, I'm putting this here so people could post their sources for various novice spells. Maybe you can get two different novice spells in two different places and someone will know about one place and someone else would know about the other place.

Go to www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion and do a search on Spells. It will list all the spells and where to get them.

Druja in the Leyawiin Mages Guild offers Novice-Based spells.

 

Or if you have the Knights of the Nine EXP installed, create the spell you desire via the Frostcrag Spire Spellmaker, provided you have that installed.

And i do believe that Calindil in The Mystical Emporium in the IC sells novice spells regarding Conjurations and Mysticism.

 

And i am almost positive that he sells the Soul Trap spell.

 

If not, the cheap spell merchant has at least one novice-level conjuration spell. Forget the name of his shop, but it's not popular with the townsfolk.
