GrimSimon
So, I ended up killing Penny in Covenant, which was a problem, since I really wanted to keep her shop open. So, I dug around and figured out how to resurrect her and stop her from trying to kill me, and stop everyone from trying to kill her. The problem is, now she's not set to being a merchant. Anyone have any idea how to reset her to being a merchant? This is what I used to bring her back: prid 537e4enableresurrectrecycleactorremovefromallfactionsaddtofaction 1c21c 1addkeyword workshopallowcommandaddkeyword workshopallowmovesetpv bcommandable truesetpv ballowmove truesetpv ballowcaravan truemoveto player Then I fast travelled away and returned, then sent her to Covenant through the workshop, even though she was already there. So now she shows up as a settler in my settlement, and she moves around, but she displays as unassigned, and she won't sell anything. Is there a flag to set that makes a NPC a merchant? Thanks!GS

GrimSimon
um, idk wait for how ever long you respawn is set to.I did the 'sleep 4 days' thing. I've ignored her for the last couple of game play days. But she's not going back to being a merchant. If anyone else has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help. GrimSimon
I figured it out. She's still annoying, but she'll sell stuff, including Justice and the other Legendary gear she carries. She also counts toward my settlement population and happiness, and she works as a farmer. :) Good to have the doctor and Penny back with the program. dwharper34
I figured it out. She's still annoying, but she'll sell stuff, including Justice and the other Legendary gear she carries. She also counts toward my settlement population and happiness, and she works as a farmer. Good to have the doctor and Penny back with the program. I have a settler that I'm having trouble with. I am using the mod "Spectacle Island Reborn" as a place for me and my companions to hang out. Before I sent her, she was responding normally. I sent her to Spectacle Island and since I wanted her to live on my private island and work in my general store, I used the console to run a bat file with the lines "removefromallfactions" and "setrelationshiprank player 4". I didn't think about what that might do. After that, she would only respond as yah or yes. I couldn't trade with her either. I turned her into a merchant and assigned her to a Homemaker rug. I used a bat file to give her the items I wanted her to sell. At the end of the bat file, I placed the line "openactorContainer 1". I verified she had the items I had given to her and equipped the clothes I wanted her to wear, which I had given to her earlier. At first she would sell items but she was looking the wrong way. I opened the workbench and rotated the rug and set it back down. After that she would no longer sell items and only respond yah. I verified she was still assigned to the rug and she was. My question is, how did you get your npc to start selling again?
dwharper34
I found a way to get her to sell again. First I replaced the rug with a store. I then assigned her to the store. Now she was leaning on the store and pointing the right direction. I then left the area and slept for 48 hours. When I came back she would sell to me again.
