Kindo Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) Greetings, My joy would know no bounds if someone managed to create a model for 'naked' Geralt. Basically, to remove those white pants he always has on when he's supposed to be naked. This includes the scene in the Prologue when he wakes up from his dream, as well as the sex scene with Ves, I believe. (Maybe he's supposed to be naked during the Hung Over quest, also?) The reason for this request is to achieve equality; in a game otherwise uncensored when it comes to female nudity (and other non-sexual adult themes), it always felt weird that Geralt was the only one covered up. Would it really alienate all the players if we were allowed to see his package, or tight buns, only for a minute or two throughout the whole game? The unwarranted censorship of male nudity, while female nudity is free to flap about in the breeze, is the kind of behaviour I have come to expect from cowardly companies such as Bioware, but CDP should know better. Anyway, that's my request: Naked Geralt, looking as 'natural' as possible, meaning no giant elephant penis or anything. :) Kindo EDIT: Naked Geralt is Naked - all we're missing is a penis... I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks not being able to see Geralt nude is what one would call so unfair lol. No problem seeing Triss naked, men love it but some of us that do play Witcher are female n we'd like to see a nude Geralt too, come on fair's fair lmao :). I might not be a woman, but I have nothing against male nudity, and I'm comfortable enough to admit when a man is looking hot, and Geralt is one sizzling piece of meat! I don't demand nudity in games, but if there's one kind of nudity, it's important to me that it's treated fairly across the sexes. Stupidly blatant censorship is also bad (such as the ugly underwear in Dragon Age, everyone seems to be wearing while having sex). naked blade Posted June 10, 2011 Share Posted June 10, 2011 LOL! too funny, but I agree. As an artist I don't mind nudity and I think it should be fair across the board to have male nudity also. As for DA2 I did make a mod to replace the 'underwear' (pants?) and it was received quite well (Simple Linen Small Cloth) and I was pleased about that. I have Geralt running around in his default white breeches and at least they look better then some of the other games we have seen in the past. One thing I have noticed about Geralt in his breeches is that the 'model' actually seems to be wearing them and not a texture 'painted' on the skin. Not sure on this but in certain instances, you see his skin pop through the mesh(?) of his breeches. Anyone else notice this? As mature as this game is I admit I was surprised that we did not have that option. Until some one can get to the meshes (models) it may be a while before we see such an item, but may not be too long.
