Finding those dds and nif files

Hey guys, I started using GECK for FONV and it's been a lot of fun. Somethings I'd like to do, like add a suppressor to the marskman carbine and creating a ghoul race has come to a hold, because I have forgotten how to extract bsa?esm? to get dds and nif files. Can it do internally through the GECK or do I need something else. Sorry again for the simple question. I have had some experience doing this with oblivion files, but now I just don't remember. Thanks again, sorry about the long boring rant.

Download Fallout Mod Manager from New vegas nexus.

 

To extract from the Bsa's go to tools, bsa browser, and open whatever to extract.

 

To model get nifskope and a 3d model software such as blender or autodesk,

To texture get a photoshop software such as adobe, gimp. One I would strongly recommend is paint dot net.

 

Remeber for texturing create a texture set.

Download FOMM it has a BSA unpacker.
