iansutton91
Found this on ebay, the seller has a ton of positive feedback and he sells a lot of computers he puts together. I just wanted to know how good it is, and if y'all think it'd have a good chance of being able to handle Skyrim better than the 360 (360 is all I have at the moment). Here are the specs: The cost of this one is $380. I imagine I may have to replace the video card, never heard of PCI-Express. iansutton91
no GPUs = no gaming My previous computer didn't have a GPU and it ran Oblivion pretty well. I'm also confused as to what this "GPU" is. Is it basically a graphics card?
Ygfbv
Neither of those are worth $150, let alone $380. My rig (in my sig) is worth about $400 ATM and crushes both of those.
iansutton91
Snap. Oh well. probably should just stick with the 360.
hoofhearted4
you can build your own computer mad cheap. PCs are better at almost any game then the console (and this is coming from a PS3 fanboy) they have more power and a bigger community AND mods! especially for skyrim, if you wanna spend some cash on it, get a PC either build one or buy one cheap. itll run skyrim better and youll get mods. you gotta remember that consoles, you cant turn up the settings all the much, but you can with a PC, therefore with even a cheap PC youll get a better gaming experience
iansutton91
Ok, how hard is it to assemble? Is it not recommended for someone who hasn't built one before, to try and do it?
Nysba
Are you on a desktop right now? The way I got confident enough to build my own PC was taking apart my old one. Which broke (before, not because I took it apart) so I didn't really care anymore. Well, I had changed the GPU and PSU already so I knew a little about the wires that are supposed to be attached but that's it.And I also watched this. A few times (skipping the later parts) [insert Nike slogan here]
