Corakus
Well he's greener and less yellowish than Oblivion orcs but I can't tell from the screen if he is bulkier than Imperials or Nords since I don't have either to compare it to in the screen. For me though I'm worried more about the elves, elves were atrocious in Oblivion, a lot of them had blocky faces and didn't seem fair enough to be elves. hadoumastery
All I hope for in the way of races and genders is that they don't make them look retarded, some of the faces in oblivion were pretty bad.
jancina25
Well if you can make orc skin dark brownish, color eyes to yellow, and add dreadlocks or similar, there you go uruk hai.
TKHawke
As always I'm being a wood elf first! (LOVE elf characters!! ) But deciding first character shouldn't be something to worry about. The game sounds like it will have good replay-ability with different ways to define your 'class' and receiving certain quests based upon how you've acted and who you've made friends with, not to mention the guilds, so it shouldn't be too boring starting multiple characters to try each race even with the vanilla game. Jacars
Bosmer is the race I'll play as, assuming they look more like the ones in Morrowind than Oblivion. In style, that is. The meshes were horrendous. What we have seen of the other races so far promises good. Edited June 18, 2011 by Jacars

Arturius997
I've played through Morrowing and Oblivion, but I seem to start with an Orc, then move on to Argonians, Dunmer, and Bosmer. Class-wise, I do a hybrid nightblade-assassin character. In that train of thought, my character would always be: Orc:Durz gra-MorgFighters' GuildOrcish War Lord (Spellsword-Sorcerer)Gather the best armor and weapons I can find while focusing on close-combat skills. Slowly level up my magicka-skills and armorer skills Argonian:Charges-FirstFighters' Guild, Dark BrotherhoodShadowscale Assassin (Nightblade-Assassin)Fight as stealthily as possible and rain as many spells as I can on my distant victims if they find me Dunmer:Sadren SaveriMorag Tong, Dark Brotherhood, Mages' GuildDunmeri Assassin (Nightblade-Spellsword)Stealth my way thru, but stick with my sword if they are close. Strike 'em from afar with spell and arrow if I feel like it Bosmer:FaldrenThieves' Guild, Dark BrotherhoodSerial Killer (Assassin-Scout)Sneak around and steal what I need, slaughtering whoever gets in my way with quiet efficiency So in Skyrim, I'll end up following this formula...
