ElioraArin
:D Gamwich is a texture God isn't he! I'm actually just downloading the latest version of "Rustic Clothing" now, I wasn't going to until I had finished modding & started playing the game again - but now I really want to see if it will affect the female outfit (unfortunately I don't think it will). Of course it's a big file so it could take a while! ...
Hexxagone
Yes he is! I didn't like the Stormcloak symbol so I removed it, just a simple edit in GIMP. Other than that it looks great. What about the textures are you wondering will be affected? Edited March 30, 2016 by Hexxagone
ElioraArin
The male versions in my mod will be untouched so Gamwich's retexture should definitely work with those, but I'm not sure that it will affect Saratje's new female meshes.Edit: I just tested what I have done so far & Saratje's textures are an improvement on vanilla anyway, they probably won't match up to Gamwich's 2 - 4k, but should look ok next to the lower res versions :) Edited March 30, 2016 by ElioraArin
Hexxagone
Are you altering the mesh? The female Ulfric is a recolor of the female Jarl outfit so Gamwich textures should work fine.
ElioraArin
No I'm not altering it, so, YAY :DEdit: Gamwich's retexture works perfectly, it looks so good I'm tempted to change the iron to steel as it no longer looks rusty ... also, in another mod I have that adds craftable armoured clothes I increase the weight of the items to be relative to the appearance & armour rating - for these items I was thinking of making the armour rating the same as elven, & the weights 6 for the clothes, 2 for the boots, 1.5 for the bracers ... any thoughts on this? I will also probably make the value of the items half again the amount of their crafting price. Edited March 30, 2016 by ElioraArin

ElioraArin
I will aim to upload tomorrow, but definitely by the weekend (I have work etc), & would like to make sure Blackkat9 is okay with the stats in my edited post :)
Hexxagone
With his texture, steel seems appropriate :) those are good stats but its up to Blackkat9
ElioraArin
I have decided to include 2 download options for this mod. Each will include 3 "Bear" sets - 1 unarmoured & made with leather, & 1 each of light & heavy armour made with either iron or steel (I decided to make steel an option for those who use "Rustic Clothing"). Prices will be adjusted where necessary. In "Rustic Clothing" these items look untarnished & higher quality, so in the steel version I am likely to make them worth double their crafting price to reflect the fine quality Gamwich has given them. In the iron versions all sets will be worth the same, however in the steel version the armoured sets will be worth more because steel is considerably more expensive than leather.Because the armour rating I am going to use is equivalent to steel/elven I have decided to make steel smithing a requirement (for the armoured sets only) & use cave bear pelts instead of brown so that it will take a little level/skill/effort to craft the items. For those like me whose crafting menus can be quite cluttered I have decided to make the recipes only show up if you have a cave bear pelt in your inventory.Unless Blackkat9 objects to any of my plans the mod should be up tonight (NZ time) - it will be called "Craftable Ulfric Clothes". Edit: Would anyone like these items to be temperable? If so I will add in the feature, but the mod may not be up until tomorrow.
