The following are a few observations regarding companions:

 

Neeshka is the most stable companion followed by Sonia.

 

The fix to Rhianna's temperament now puts her in third place.

 

Rhianna should have been modelled fat. She eats like a horse.

 

 

Companions and Glenvar Castle

 

Anybody thinking about the Glenvar Castle as a home should consider starting a farm to grow the food that these hogs eat.

I spend most of my time looking for food for the castle. Rhianna unfortunately lives there. You can fix the problem with guards at the castle killing companions by adding the CM partners faction to the guards at the castle, and the mad woman with the sword. However, this won't stop them sniping travellers. The road outside is strewn with dead travellers. At one point I had 8 CM companions plus the 4 generals from

Toaster's mod plus the three mentioned above.....as well as the entire amazon population of **SPOILER** cave. I did say entire.

 

 

 

How to make Voice of Nature a companion without changing her factional/response code in anyway?

 

 

 

You need Toaster's companion mod, a 62+ charm spell, lot's of health, good stealth and speed.

You'll need to be at least level 15 or you won't survive the onslaught of these tough enemies.

Take some companions along to distract the priestesses while you work. Also I recommend some armor with

reflect damage. They hate that.

 

 

Now you can charm as you go or kill your way to the Queen's lair.

 

 

 

The Toaster Companion mod is VERY versatile.

 

You need to get close to the Queen and powerfully charm her. Then cast companion order on her and

she will become a companion. If she's not already at 100 friendly, bribe her up. Do the same to all of

the other priestesses who remain alive.

 

I took Voice of Nature on the Meridia quest and she performed well. I took her back to her lair and

had another idea. I was in a room full of high-ranking amazons and decided to dismiss them all as companions.

 

Script lag was becoming apparent.

 

When you dismiss an amazon there can be a few responses.

 

1. Their 100 response drops to about 50.

 

2. Their 100 response drops to about 30.

 

3. They scream and attack you.

 

As soon as you dismiss them bribe the hell out of them and their response will

come up to 100 or at least high 90s. They will then not be a companion but they will remain

friendly even if you come back later. I've done a similar thing with bandits.

 

Voice of Nature's response came back up to 100 and remains there.

 

Later on I read the book Aidon and the Amazon Queen....and laughed.
