SayinNuthin
I'm sat here with my brother in law who is what Bben calls a 'console kiddy' (PS4) who is quite convinced that later this year he's going to be getting mods for his PS4 Fallout. I tinker with modding and sort of know how the games file structures work and I can't imaging just how they are going to pull this off. Okay perhaps some basic retextures might be doable and maybe some 'New Lands' which are basically new map levels with existing assets but multi dependent, models/textures/scripted quests with dialogue and so on.. that work alongside other multi-dependent mods.. Anyone have any ideas on this?
midfit
I hacked my PS3 and ran all kinds of mods on it and They work just fine. The console's will just need a mod manager of their own.
SayinNuthin
And some form of script extender and possibly something that does the MCM stuff.. But if you say thats how it works I'll take your word for it, So the Playstation game has .bsa and .esm files then and you can make new folders for meshes and sounds and stuff? Funny, I thought it would be wildly different (for some reason)
