Moraelin
Look, I understand why one wouldn't want every newbie to be able to just create an account and spam 10,000 threads with some crap. But what happens most of the time is that I want to answer some modding questions and get to sit and click on Reply until it lets me. I also tend to give up lots. Shoot, I could waste a minute clicking like an idiot AGAIN until it lets me tell some newbie how to retexture the gun of his dreams, or I could go "screw it" and let him google it while I play the game. I often find out that I'm not quite that nice, after all. You'd think that after all this time and these mods it would be clear that I'm not going to start posting too much crap. I'm not even asking to remove the limit completely, but, dunno, halving it for modders with however many downloads it takes to get that perk, would be nice. Deleted1848331User
Ha, I do the same thing. If I have to wait a minute to help I just "forget". Perhaps after staying for a few months its removed or something, I don't know...
Pronam
It's to prevent you from double posting as well. When I uses to strawl to answer to posts I thought the same, but exceptions on these ends are usually abused quickly. The timer is applied to groups, but I bet it's turned on for everyone. Maybe even the mods :P.
Thandal
Oh yes, I get the "countdown timer" effect. Frequently.
