Ellendar12
I feel bad making a request such as this, but is it possible to make a fencer style class, complete with different attack animations. I've played around with modding a bit, but I feel I'm way out of my depth when it comes to changing animations etc... I just rather wish I could have a proper Zorro or musketeer style dualist. Animations would likely include many lunges, quick slashes, flourishes, and lots of evasion and sidestepping of enemy attacks. Alas however as I said, I'm afraid such a mod is beyond my abilities. dcinroc
If my slow internet connection ever allows me to successfully download the toolset, then I plan to do something similar. I don't think it's possible to actually make new combat animations from scratch (at least it wasn't in games that I have modded before), so you're basically stuck with existing animations and trying to apply them in new ways. I would like to create a Single Weapon talent tree available for warriors and rogues that would combine elements of existing talents and animations. For example, taking the kick animation from the rogue talent and giving it knockback power similar to Shield Bash. Or the thrust animation (also from a rogue talent) and making it into a critical strike. Ideally I'd work in some of the two-handed animations as well. Anyway, it's a pipe dream unless I eitherget the toolset or somebody else does it. But I'd definitely like to see something along those lines.
Kaldelar
You can actually create new animations - there's a whole lot of discussions and help on the subject over at Social Bioware.
