1: embrace the fact that some files will be lost forever.

2: get some data recovery software (download.com lists a few, pick one that looks good) and run it. With any luck, you might be able to salvage some data.

 

Should steps 1 and 2 fail, re-download all relevant files from the Nexus. Personally, I like to keep all downloaded mods in a separate folder so I can easily reinstall them is anything unforeseen happens.

Done and done. But now, Oblivion will not start up.

 

Edit: To determine why it crashes at startup, I thought putting up a pic of my load order would help. I think that is part of why it is malfunctioning.

Sorry, but you have to reinstall oblivion then. Happened to me. If you have mods, WinRAR will save them Its is a free download, if you dont have it. Might wanna go to the topic I posted.
