Lukelbs
I tried asking this at Steam's forum but nobody replied so I'm hoping I'd get some help here. I have the Elders Scrolls Anthology pack and at one time I had Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all installed just fine but I uninstalled the first 2 while I wasn't playing them. Now that I want to play Oblivion I went to install it and Steam isn't recognizing its installation. I tried installing directly to the Steam folder instead of Bethesda Softworks and that didn't help, I tried following the guide on the Oblivion forum on how to have a clean uninstall with no luck and I tried "flushing" my Steam program too. It's weird though Oblivion runs fine as far as I can tell except Steam doesn't detect it.
JimboUK
I wonder if it's the plain old DVD version of Oblivion? anyway try adding it as a non steam game, Steams features work with most non steam titles https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2219-YDJV-5557
