goldenknight1 Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 Hello Moderaters I do ok with most of my mods i read and study the mod and then download, run game see if mod is running ok then move on.After 15 mods in i start getting yellow triangles with the qoutation marks in them. They are a real pain........ Please could you help me a little on what i might be doing wrong. Setup > Very clean computer-custom built. Windows 7 , Oblivion TES 4 , Knights of the Nine , Shivering Isles , All installedvery clean no errors and have all the latest updates. wizardmirth Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 Hopefully you did not install Oblivion to the default folder but somewhere else. Yellow triangles mean that the game cannot locate the corresponding textures and so you get the default image. Check your game data folders and make sure that the textures and meshes are getting installed properly. Compare with original mod to see if it's correct. Depending on the mod, there is a slight chance that the author did not create the right folder path as mistakes sometimes happen. If you're not sure check the comments of the mod and see if anyone has reported problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bben46 Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 The yellow polygons with exclamation points are place holders for missing meshes. This indicates that one or more of your mods is not installed correctly and the meshes (and probably any associated textures) are not in the right place. Most likely problem, they are installed in a second data folder inside of the regular data folder. If you find that second data folder, reinstall the mods that are doing this.
