JackTrenton
So it would seem that having the ability to liquefy and reshape molten metals would give someone tremendous power in post-apocalyptia. Ashur used his steel mill to become the lord of the Pitt. The applications would be endless. You could forge iron for artillery pieces, steel for guns, turrets, bullet casings, robots in Automatron, walls for your settlements, etc. It shouldn't be a god mode thing though. A little difficulty could be added by having to track down ingots, like in the Pitt DLC. Caves could be created with large quantities of ingots where the metals occur naturally, and these could be brought to the forge and melted down to craft other items. This would finally bring industry to the wasteland instead of just scavenging.
Flowerguy360
I have had the same thought before when I first encountered the Forged. +1!
Jeffman12
I think at the very least, something like this should grant you access to a "Forged" component set for some weapons, armors, and/or robots, maybe with a wrought iron aesthetic. Oh, defs, some wrought iron yard art or shelter components, and maybe exportable artillery pieces to make building them less of a hassle.
