upyourstoo
i'm trying to complete boone's whodunit mission, i have the beret on, i know who did it, and i send them to the dinosaur, but nothing happens. boone IS in the tower, but he's just sitting there, completely ignoring the suspect. eventually, they just start to go back to their house, and i have to ask them to go to the dino again. like i said before, i have the beret on. not only that, but i've done the mission with a different character before with no problem, and i'm starting to think that a mod i downloaded is the problem, but i last did boone's quest before i downloaded any mods, so i can't pinpoint a specific one. anyone have any guesses? Sunnie
Stand with the culprit and THEN put the beret on, not before. Try that.
Fonger
some mods cause this, but you did not list yours also correct exact spot can matter - try getting closer to the main road (farther onto the rock) Edited June 20, 2011 by Fonger
Sunnie
The script on Boone's beret is fired on equipping the his beret. If theres no target in the little mound area directly in front of the Dino, the script will end with nothing happening since SniperVictimTriggerREF.bPlayerInZone will return a zero. ean511
Hmm that's a lot of mods mate. When's the last time you did this quest? Maybe if you could narrow them down by selecting the mods that you installed AFTER you've done the same quest on the previous playthrough, the problem would be easier to solve?
