Questions about The Witcher's Story

So I just bought Witcher 2 on Steam, but I've never played any Witcher games before. It's currently downloading, but Is there some things I should know before starting Witcher 2, and what do you suggest for someone just starting out in the Witcher series? Edited by jhardingame

Just enjoy it. If you get stuck there are plenty of spoilers. Decisions you make WILL have consequences further down the line, which means you can always play through again making a series of different choices to see how they pan out. Inventory is small, and there is no storage anywhere in the game, and unlike games like Morrowind and Oblivion there aren't a million and 1 different types of armour, although you can upgrade some with enhancements. (look for the small circles next to the icon.

Hello guys, I have a question, not really related to The Witcher 1's story, more likely about a sword. Have you ever found this sword "Sword of Vaclav's grandfather " in act 2? Please let me know if anyone knows.

Sword of Vaclav's grandfather

This sword is not actually found in the game, only in the game assets files. *edit, found in the marsh chapter 2

The above statement was taken from the witcher wiki but for me personally i don`t think i ever found this sword .

Well, I've played the first witcher, so a few things that I found helpful -- Use alchemy, it's a major life saver. I'm not sure how alchemy works in the second game, but take the time to learn the system. I also spent time collecting various ingredients to craft efficient potions.

Really though, the main thing to do is to just enjoy the game. Every decision point will alter the outcome of the game. Don't worry whether the decision you make will make the future harder, just take things as they come (much like you have to in Real life ;) ) I would also recommend taking the time to find and do the side quests. They were well written in the first game, and I only expect them to get better.

You're a badass professional monster slayer -- What else need be said :P ?
