I have never played Elder Scrolls 3, so I'm unsure what made this game better than oblivion, I understand it had more armors, weapons, that sought of thing, but what was it that the game gave?? would it be like "in my case, oblivion being better than fallout3 because it had that little more something to it"??

How exactly was Oblivion lacking in RP elements compared to Morrowind?

Oblivion plays far more like a first-person shooter. It is for twitchy gamers, whereas Morrowind was about getting involved with your character and their story. It was a game you had to stick with to get enjoyment out of, because the enrichment came from your relationship with the character you were playing and your involvement in their story.

I started my TES journey with MW and played the vanilla game for 1000+ hrs so I haven't a lack of experience with the title. I enjoyed OB just as much as MW though if not more because it was also a good role playing game. Just because you liked MW more doesn't mean OB was less of an RPG to everyone else. MW had many a short comings concerning NPC dialogue, believability and depth of side quests. OB did many things better from a an RPG perspective so it comes down to give and take. Just because it did some things worse doesn't make it less of an RPG.
