Sticking objects down?

This annoys me 'cos I like collecting junk from the wasteland and putting it in my settlements, but everytime someone walks past it they knock it over and all my designing of stuff on tables and shelves goes blergh and spills on the floors. Is there a mod to keep items you put down in place? Also most of the time when I pick up an item it doesn't "right" itself, if you know what I mean, so I can only move it around on its side. I thought one of the updates was gonna fix this for some reason.

I just thought it would, something I read about in an update release about fixing the way items move in the workshop. I thought it would fix the "righting" option, not the sticking things down thing :smile: But thank you for the mod! looks like just what I need!

Those are movable statics. They are meant to move like that.

OCDecorator does exactly what you want, although the things that it places are not movable objects once you place them, which is kind of a bummer.

 

Another thing you may want to try is this mod which allows you to move things around in the world with great precision. It may at least take some of the headache away from moving things around. I use it constantly to move walls and such into places that they won't clip into, like repairing house walls and roofs.
