GODSBANE123456
My programming team and I are making a RPG which we will later convert to an MMORPG. To start, we have created a storyboard, and have a general idea on how to game GUI and graphics will look, but all we need are 3D mesh makers and animators. if you have any interest in helping and getting further detail, please message me through the private message system. LHammonds
Ah, OK. The previous gentleman had a similar idea but wanted to create the single-player experience as a total conversion of Oblivion...then switch engines to make it into an MMORPG. I explained the potential pitfalls of his overall design methodology and was curious if this java platform was his solution. With that, I'll bow out and get out of your hair. Good luck! GODSBANE123456
Haha, yea I have enough knowledge of how oblivion works, and for any game to be different from the leveling system, skill system, spell system, and just the general idea of oblivion as an MMO. You would need a major overhaul which would probably be easier to just start over from scratch. No, I have decided to use Unity as my game engine because it is set up to import all types of files, is easy to create territory, and is just in general a better engine than any released version from the mainstream gaming companies.
