Chrisworld
Hi all. I've run into another problem with NPCS not speaking. After fixing the first one, my character went along to do the Dark Brotherhood quest series. She finally met a Breton female in the dark brotherhood sanctuary. It turns out that my Breton females do not speak anymore ethier. After looking around it seems every mod in my setup had breton females set up as imperials for voices so after taking an hour to fix them all it stil didn't fix anything in the game, they still don't speak. So I looked at my oblivion ESM through the CS. The oblivion ESM still has breton female under imperial voices, yet i cannot edit it and save it without it asking to save as an esp. IS there any way to edit and SAVE the ESM file so I can fix this problem? Better yet, how the hell did this happen in the first place?
micalov
They have it set as that because most races share voices in oblivion to cut down on actors needed, same as nords and Orcs, Argonians and Khajiit, most the elves ect. So you dont need to change it. Also you do not want to ever change oblivion.ESM unless your doing something like a total convertion like Nehrim. About the voice problem, something else is more then likely effecting it. Are the NPC's lips not moving when they atlk aswell? if so proberbly another mod messing it up somewhere. MotoSxorpio
Before you go further, you should educate yourself about modding as a player. Here is a good start : Read thru the whole site Look into CS Extented, it has better handling than Vanilla CS. Good luck!
