AurianaValoria1
I hope this has a quick solution. I'm having a problem with some textures on static pieces looking fine with no lights on in the CS, but as soon as I test the lighting, some textures reflect as black. Is there a way to fix this? I'm using jgreybear's Ayleid Building Blocks set. I have Nifskope, and some minor experience using it, as I had to reassign all the textures to avoid compatibility issues. Natterforme
Things that show up in the CS might not always appear correctly in the world space. This is because every item has two meshes that are read. The one you see in the inventory area and the worldspace one. Make sure these are the same and make sure the texture file paths are correct. Also, make sure every texture has a proper normal map( texture name_n map). It is also possible that your download had an error. Is this the first time this happened with this mod for you? Has it worked in the past? If so there might be a load order issue. Try this out, or if you already have, post a reply and we can go from there^^. AurianaValoria1
Sounds like jgreybear is working on it. It's an issue on his end as well. Everything has a proper normal map. I did find this, but I can't really make sense of it: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/How_To_make_a_mesh_to_reflect_light_if_it_is_black_in_game
Natterforme
Hmmm, cant really say about this problem at this point. I dont know how it works in gimp because I use photoshop to make all my normal maps. So far I havent had any problems but then again I havent gone beyond clothing mods at this point. Im sorry that I cant be of much help to you though.
