Dead Money Guns no sound

All the new Dead MOney weapons have sounds for reloading and the bolt mechanisms, but no characteristic "bang" that you should hear when you normally pull the trigger. I have Classic Fallout weapons, weapon mods expanded, FOOK, and Aeronovalis weapon retexture project among my mods and these seem to be the most likely culprits. Weapon mods might not affect sound but Classic fallout weapons might have a problem with the new guns. I have FOMM and have been wrestling with the load order for some time now. I would like to know if anyone else has encountered this sort of issue and what can be done to bring the sound back.

ok, dont mean to necro this, but i cant find any mention anywhere other than this simple post. i have this exact same issue. in dead money all "new" weapons have no firing sound, only reload/cocking sounds exist. i have played every DLC and single tidbit of the game, i saved this one for last because of the fact you cant "go back" after you beat it. i have not experienced any repeatable bugs/glitches or gamebreaking issues up to this point. i use NO 3rd party mods, so i know it isnt load order or mod confliction... the only mods i have are bethesda DLCs and a manual high resolution texture replacer (this shouldnt affect sound files, but even if the folder is moved, it still happens, so that isnt it either) what the hell causes this? it is fustrating.... short of force loading audio files to replace these weapons' audio files im lost. guessing it is a very rare software/hardware issue since NO ONE seems to mention this problem other than here. it is driving me nuts. did you ever figure it out?

HT Claro+ Plus sound card, using logitech 7.1 surround headphones or 2.1 speaker system, same thing happens either way. all sounds in the game work fine, JUST the dead money guns don't work, ie: holorifle, police pistol, BAR (all ive found so far). any help would be appreciated. even if it is a recommended audio replacer. i simply cant get into the DLC with no combat sounds. bad enough it is so linear. glad i saved it for last, i think this would of ruined my desire to play the other DLCs if i had played this one first and the others were all so incredibly amazing.
