Top Essential Fallout Mods

Hello everyone,

 

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some opinions about what the best Body replacer mod is for FO3. I assume more than one at a time isn't a good idea, like Oblivion, so I'd much rather just pick one good one and stick with it.

 

So, what body replacer should I use?

 

 

I recommend using FEM here - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10235

Its a compilation of some of the popular body mods that let them work along side each other.

 

I also recommend the the Randomized NPC Height mod, not exactly a body replacer but now there will be much needed variety in the NPC height. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3202

I didn't even realize there was a mod like that, it's pretty incredible. Thank you for telling me about it!

 

Some of the women seem to turn a bit purple with this mod, but I'm sure there's a way to fix that.

Yeah there's a way.... But I not sure how to do it haha. I'm sure if you read though the comments on that or another body re-placer mod you'll find an answer.

its all personal preference, but i just use the one off the top100 list

For a body replacer, I went with Dimon's Type 3 since most of the armor/clothing mods are based on it.As for a few others:

 

NPC: Brisa Almoldovar, Jessi the Teenage Companion, Sydney Follower, Better NPC Repair (Improves select npc repair abilities) Followers Hire Continued.

 

Environment: Fellout (Pipboy Lighting mod 100m to be able to see at night), Fallout Street lights.DC Interiors, Laurens Bathroom Poetry

 

Quest: Power of the Atom Reworked (Makes the quest more difficult)

 

Player Home: Daniels Family Vault (highly recommended, you'll ignore the vanilla homes),Recieve Tenpenny Tower Suite (buy or talk your way into the apartment)

 

Radio: Galaxy News Radio: More Where That Came From (up to 100 new songs), Existance Radio

 

Armor/Clothes: Black Rose (goth-loli outift)

 

Weapons: Dojo Stuff (replaces starting baseball bat with bokken),Ninja Gear, Nepalese Kukri, Seta de Sangue.

 

General: BA Inventory Sorter, BA Repair (now you have a use for the junk lying around the wasteland),Diverse Alcohol Effects.

Yep,I would recommend you the most mods mentioned above too.

But additionally if you want beutiful faces to your body replacer use Project Beauty or

if your PC can handle it Project Beauty HD. The new faces are really incredible.

Just search 'Project Beauty' in the nexus and you ll find it.
