Hidole555
Crap. And when I try to turn off UAC (Windows 7) it says I need to restart my computer. Problem is, the only person (Mum) who knows the password isn't here right now. I'll just mod Morrowind while I'm waiting.
Hidole555
I disabled UAC and I got the exact same error word for word. Do I need to reinstall Wrye Python or something? And if I do, will it affect my installed mods?
Silvermistshadow
Even with steam off, there are some residual protection functions inherent in that directory. Either uninstall steam and reinstall it somewhere else or give full access (except 'special permissions') to the steam folder to everything. Telyn
Here's the link to how to move the Steam install without having to redownload your game. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=231It worked for me. Steam will do a brief update and you may need to re-enter your account information.
