Hidole555 Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 Crap. And when I try to turn off UAC (Windows 7) it says I need to restart my computer. Problem is, the only person (Mum) who knows the password isn't here right now. I'll just mod Morrowind while I'm waiting.

Silvermistshadow Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Even with steam off, there are some residual protection functions inherent in that directory. Either uninstall steam and reinstall it somewhere else or give full access (except 'special permissions') to the steam folder to everything.

Telyn Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Here's the link to how to move the Steam install without having to redownload your game. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=231It worked for me. Steam will do a brief update and you may need to re-enter your account information.
