Alternate Starts mod/Choose your backstory[Probably CK limited]

Eventually, I'd love to see a "pick your backstory" style mod with a series of dialogue options to help determine what perks you start with and where you might initially find yourself.

 

Heck, you might even be able to pull of the cryogenics angle

 

Also, perhaps a way to start out with a particular relation faction already in effect?

 

Unfortunately, the main plot isn't so open-ended but maybe there'd be some way to neutralize the character's linkage to the events of Vault 111?

 

Anywho, just spitballing at this point.

See, I love this concept, and it's been used quite effectively in other Bethesda games (I know for sure New Vegas and Skyrim had pretty successful versions of it, and New Vegas had a decent amount of references to your Courier status), but in F4 it seems like every other conversation you have with a person is, "Hello, I am from 200 years ago, I am looking for my son, etc." and since the protagonist's voiced, I imagine putting in alternate answers or what-have-you would prove a bit difficult. In fact, come to think of it, how would you implement new quest mods or other things, since the Sole Survivor talks? I guess you could always just tell people to dust off their "imaginations," yeah?

 

Just, you know, snowballing the spitball. :D

It is CK limited.But I don't think you would have needed to request this.An Alternate Start mod is too big for a mod request,but a lot of people are already rooting for a alternate Start mod,and it's nearly guaranteed to be made,if modding turns out as simple as it was in earlier titles that is.

I was thinking I actually wouldn't mind going back to a silent protag, if maybe some other mod could do that.

 

As for why I'm putting it up as a request, I want some ideas on customization to gain traction before any alternate start mods drop and turn out to have a less than optimal setup phase.
