UtopianOne
This will randomly happen with both vanilla and mod weapons in 1st person. My crosshairs will remain in the same place so I'd guess it is the camera that moves and not my actual character. This happens at random and only in 1st person. Please help, this is a very annoying bug and completely ruins the game for me :wallbash: Thank you for any help or advice :)http://i.imgur.com/Pk9iI.jpg
asdfzxc
It's a pretty common glitch, I don't know what's causing it. Try toggling ironsights, looking up and down, walking in circles etc until it goes back to normal.
UtopianOne
Well it does go back to normal after a few seconds, a weapon swap, or rapidly changing where I'm aiming. I just haven't experienced this bug at all until yesterday and now it is very frequent. So far I have tried: -Deleting my 1st person folder in data/meshes/characters-installing an animations replacer Any other suggestions to permanently reduce or eliminate this would be awesome. I wouldn't mind if it happened once or twice an hour, it just happens so frequently that playing in first person is almost a moot point. Kudos for trying to help asdfzxc  If I do find a solution that isn't mentioned on this thread, I'll post it here for others to find. wektis
I to have this bug, every time I see it makes me wish a skilled modder could somehow trigger it to allow you to sit behind cover and fire blindly over the top of it :)
UtopianOne
Ya, It would be great if it happened with a mod as a sort of firing under cover mod, but its just game-breaking when it happens ever 3-4 minutes of gameplay. Doing a reinstall now.
skyline99
This is getting fixed in the next patch. While It isn't official source, I don't have much reason to believe that the poster is lying in any way. There's also some replies in that thread, and a continuation thread, about the fixes that are being applied. UtopianOne
Ok, that's good news I guess. I'll just play a bunch of other games since the next patch comes out in just over 20 days. Hopefully what I'm experiencing and what the patch fixes are the same thing :D
