Which companion mod would be best for me?

Hi,

I currently have a game going with FOOK2,MMM as my main gameplay mods. I have recently been playing with Underground Hideout which i think is great, but i think that it is not quite "companion friendly" enough. Also, i like the above ground bit, but think there is not quite enough tbh, and there is not a real communal area imo.

Also, i can't get Vanilla or FOOK companions to sandbox there.

I was looking at using RR companion vault. I imagine that it will work ok with FOOK which uses Phalanx companion mod?

Basically i would like a camp/town/vault which i could use as a base where i could keep all of my Companions. I like the look of RR companion valut, but is there a part of it above ground, as it is something i liked about the Underground Hideout.

Which mods would you use to achieve what i am looking for?

Thank you.

btw, i didn't get on with RTS

I have another question.

Which "needs" mod do you think is best?

I have just installed RI primary needs, but i know there are others like basic needs etc.

Also, I noticed that Aqua Pura has no affect. have i missed a plugin somewhere or is this a known issue?

Cheers

Ok, I'm an idiot! I thought I was in NV mod talk! I'll leave the info below though, in case you ever have the same questions about NV.

The same author that made Bella's Bunker, also has two for FO3. They are Crystal and her Compound. This is a great compound with room for companions and Crystal is a good companion:

and Victoria. She's quite the tank in battle, but has no house:

I have Jasmine, who is a cutie and holds her own, also no house:

My best companion is Dante. He is like a body guard almost and easy to work with. One warning, he's rude and crude talking, but that's what makes him special, along with his combat skills:

As far as homes go, the Daniel's Family Vault is a great vault-player home. Even has a pool and working showers. Very nicely done with room enough for all my companions:

Recently added this player home, also made by Crystal and Victoria's author- The Enclave Hideout. A great, roomy player home, with a bunk house for companions:

I like to make dance videos using Umpa's, so I got this player home which is MASSIVE!! But very kewl! Called My Mansion Player Home. Has a nice quest too:

Those are some to get you started anyway. I do have Groovy Followers, which allows you to recruit any NPC as a companion. Works great, I just hate having to rename him each time:

Well, that's a lot, but I hope you find something you like in there

Try Bella's Bunker:

She's a great companion and has a very groovy vault right around the corner from the Mojave Outpost.

I had RR companions (and still do), but decided to try NCCS - NosCo Companion System:

It was so easy to do, I ended up making 3 new companions of my own. Now I mostly travel with them when I play. That is a fun one.

I also have Jade Companion:

Another good companion, but no house or anything. You need RR for her to work.

As far as must haves, I always use Fellout, The Electro-City Lighting mod, Advanced Recon Stealth Armor, plus other mods that add different foods to the wasteland. I've never really used the needs mods in FO3 or NV, only in Oblivion, so I can't speak to that. There are tons of bugfix mods, which with buggy ole NV you certainly need.
