DudeNtheRoom
Bought the GotY edition a while back and it kept crashing randomly. So I stopped. My question is: Does Morrowind crash randomly with Steam? Please say it doesn't b/c I would really like to play this game again.
GuerillaWarlord
I don't have it with steam but I would probably say that it wouldn't and it was a problem on your end, whether it was mods conflicting with each other or your pc couldn't handle it. but this is just a theory without knowing more information. Vagrant0
Morrowind came before Steam. i don't think there's any connection between the two. Morrowind crashing randomly is just kinda how things are when you have many mods loaded.

Morrowind crashing randomly is just kinda how things are when you have many mods loaded. Morrowind is available via Steam, so I think he means if the steam version of the game is known to crash. As for the OP, I'd suggest taking a look at Morrowind's forums over on the Steam forums. More likely to get help specific to this problem there. Herculine
The Morrowind Code Patch has helped my game become more stable and my saves more reliable, especially with the ton of mods I'm running it with.
JimboUK
The Steam version doesn't come with the construction set and unlike Oblivion it isn't available as a download, a problem if you want to make mods.
