zZParabellumZz
I'd Like you fine ladies and gentleman to make a mod that adds a simple wooden bathtub to skyrim, much like the one from the witcher 3 cutscene where Geralt takes his bath in. To get one you would have to buy it from the merchants of skyrim or make one yourself with 10 firewood and 5 steel ingots, and make it so you can place it anywhere. And also that it is compatible with the bathing in skyrim mod.If you do this you'll be like the coolest dude or dudette ever :D
ElioraArin
I have lost count of how many times I have looked for this exact mod, to no avail ... please can someone with the know how implement this idea!!!
Gabdube
Doesn't vanilla Skyrim already have barrel tub models? If not, many, many house mods feature functional barrel tubs. They generally use an invisible chair in the water to sit. Sometimes it's not even invisible. Those could be used as inspiration to make the requested mod (if it doesn't already exist). ElioraArin
I have never seen a tub in vanilla Skyrim, & have looked & looked for a portable bath mod - I actually keep checking every couple of months in hope that someone will have done one (sometimes it happens, someone finally made a portable mirror to change your appearance!) ... :D It might be quite easy for an experienced modder to implement? But someone just has to want to do it first!
BBSurf37
Me too. I'm thinking it's time I learn how to mod so I won't be waiting on other creative people out there to eventually make the portable bath. I've been searching and it looks like everyone is set on just making bathhouses in cities and towns or hearthfire homes but nothing for those who venture out away from civilization. ElioraArin
The MCM menu in "Bathing in Skyrim" now makes it possible to bathe without standing in water - there is a washrag that you can realistically use to "sponge bathe" to a presentable degree if a significant water source isn't available, or if you are in a home without an actual bath you can use soap anyway to get fully clean. I know it's not quite a portable bath, but it is better than not having the option at all!
AudreyTate
I think walk in bathtub mesa is a good option. These tubs are specially designed for elders but anyone can use them as they provide hydrotherapy and many other features. These are the tubs that can assist in creating a spa like environment in your bathroom.
BBSurf37
True. I have bathing in skyrim. Guess I'm looking for a somewhat immersive kind of bath instead of turning off the water required feature. Or at least something small and low enough to fit in any home without a bath mod installed already.
