mymee
The installation is impossible!! Okay, I just need to follow directions, but the directions say install FCOM on clean oblivion, when do I install the unofficial patches? Okay so I read the thread here on nexusforums and a reply said I need to install things like BOSS, OBMM, OBGE, Pluggy(whatever that is), and WRYE BASH before installing FCOM. So before I attempt to install this game for the last time, can someone who has FCOM verify exactly what else I need to install before FCOM? schijnn
Try following the directions here. And if you think it's challenging to install, just wait until you start trying to play!
mymee
Try following the directions here. And if you think it's challenging to install, just wait until you start trying to play! Thank you very much sir, I shall attempt to follow these instructions! And if I fail again, I'll just go crawl into fetal position and suck my thumb until I get the courage to try again. Well if that one dont work follow this one. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/924363-the-elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion/48544847 Thats for a basic FCOM installation... Now when you get to the bashed patch you NEED to look at the official bashed patch instructions. There are parts of the bash that require OOO and warcry to NOT be selected otherwise you will run into crashes during gameplay. If you want UFCOM (same thing just with some unofficial FCOM patches)http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=guides_mod_installation&subpage=fcom_installation_guide All I can say is Download and label everything you need for the installation before you start installing. Once you start installing run a test after every major part. For example Install OOO Test OOO, Install MMM Test MMM (with only MMM active), Install Fran test Fran (only Fran), continue like this until you have FCOM installed then you bash and TEST. If you have problems with any of the seperate packages only TESTS then you will know that the final result will have problems.

UnbetledJoker
As far as I know there is no one file that install full FCOM. FCOM is just what allows you to play the 4 massive overhauls together with little to no conflicts. The Big 4 are Francesco's Leveled Creatures-Items, Oblivion WarCry, Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul and Martigen's Monster Mod. This is hands down the easiest to follow installation guide. Follow this exactly and you can have it installed in an hour or two. FCOM Installation Guide And this is a very good set of mods that I'm using right now. All very easy to install. A warning though if you don't have a high end computer you'll want to stay away from Really AEVWD it absolutely murders framerates. youngvampire
There are. However I'm a bit wary about posting a link because of forum rules.
