Whatever works best. I freely admit that I borked this due to not knowing how it worked

Don't worry, I am here for you.

your gonna need to use some thought and study the screen shots I make here because it's important what's typed out in them.

The place where the game normally stores your saved game is the same, MO pulls all it's data from the operating systems registry file for the games used.

C:\users\(User name)\My Documents\My games\fallout3\saves....or where ever drive your OS resides on.

Remotes are quite different and the path is inter webs.

so your saved games are linked in automatically in MO.

The version ID of the correct program to use for this game is in the header of the screen shots.

Now, you may see me use other versions...that's because the bugs they exhibit are my tools or I use them as TOOLS.

---------------

You need 1.2.18 installer for this game use.

during the install process, please take the time to rename auto naming ans make your own custom folder names.

The hard drive that failed on me yesterday, had over 65 Mod Organizers installed.

Imagine how My PC feels?

your not alone. Most modders make custom made files, not just plugins, but texture packs and custom mesh files for them, and they use the very same names of the source game file names, so to overwrite them.

Now, what get's lost in the transitions is the fact, some of these custom made files get trampled on and screws up the game big time.

That's the key...knowing this and keep this in mind...so, MO came along and automatically "parses" the mods contents !, shows Immediately of the conflict / overwrite the files are making ...the really cool things here is, there is no touchy touchy going on. no damages.

On Mo's left side, you can move these up or down to suite your preferences and see what takes place in game...no worse for ware.

and if you don't think the mod is Obeying? well uncheck it and it's just gone, as in not there any more.

any other way, this is not true, there is always left behind data in the games data folder...Mo does not mess with it at all.

in game glitches can be found in seconds !

you install Mo, then uninstall all mods using Fomm as the uninstaller, then you need to verify the data folder is clean....IF so, start with mo, set up the tools with in MO for Fomm, Java plugin tool, thew geck...xedit is handled VIA FOMM. so no need for any internal access.

Understand, when any program has the plugins held in ram or said in use, no other program outside of that program can alter files.

Inside, permissions are granted as a sub net program.

over time as you get used to MO....LOL, your gonna wish you started along long time ago.
