Trying to troubleshoot missing textures

You also mentioned something about (I believe) PointRadio.esp -- do I need to redownload that mod?

you need to extract it and repack it less the sub data folder. a folder that contains all the files, view-able when you open it is correct for install, the old method of having a "Data" sub folder is for outdated fomm FOMOD scripting. that mod does not require this, but is packaged very wrong.

all 3 versions are 3 sub folder deep so most if any managers can not extract this data correctly at all.

talk about scrambling things up ? well this means the data just does not load and is missing ,any calls to this data cause game "cramps"

11.9 GB (12,846,743,552 bytes) that's how much data is there.

that took me 2 hours to download and acclimate the contents yesterday.

That's me and I know what I'm doing, imagine others that don't ? :pinch:

in the line up, there are probably 10 to 15 such mods, but this one was 3 deep.

Imagine all of this erroneous code is trapped in a saved game.

I do have some screen shots using your saved game too. all things work...rather smoothly too.

but my graphics was set to raw / bare minimum , just Ugly as hell because I had too in order to get around the ENB series code in the saved game file.

I don't run binary files for this game at all...the above points to why. Stoke the fire any one?

I download every scrap of information any mod author produces in order to have it handy. I loot the site he he, in order to know what is what, there can be no other method to accomplish a goal such as this type of thing.

and I get tempted at other mods that show up in the search too. really odd ball things people make....Code is code no matter what it is, it all plays on the small tiny master files for a simple game 'Fallout3".

the best way to test any game is 4 mods at a time 4 hours each. There is no fun for most doing this, but I get to see a ton more than most.

I have another user here ...asked a question about a mod I don't normally get involved with, I know the mod inside and out, but I asked for a saved game file and they sort of slither away ? why?

that file, a saved game file is your games data base, it holds all the cards played. That is my world, kitties world and I for one find it fun to do.

My quest unwritten. a lot more fun..for me.

if, you installed the uuf3p VIA the executable and it writes to the ini files, be aware the game may not run..as it did here, it broke my ini files...but I was ready, I had a complete back up of all data touched. and replaced it.

instant game loads. BOOM ! Fallout 3 is in babe.

all my ini's are default, no tweaks of any kind except the geck custom ini, that things grew very very big, I turned on a whole bunch of things too.

but you may need to replace your ini files.

Okay. So I can't load that save file you sent at all -- it CTDs immediately. I tried loading my quicksave, which loads, but then about 60 seconds in it starts raining (acid, apparently) and even inside I'm taking huge amounts of rad damage. Wondering if I just need to start a fresh game or something at this point.

Or, for that matter, reinstall and start fresh.

that's how the data is supposed to act. I did not run FOSE here with your saved game, that code was ripped out of the saved game file.

the mods you have make the game extremely difficult to cope in the game world, as as if you intended to make it that way.

I thought the out come was rather wild. IF you load your current and it allows you to get into the game? send that one to me so I can verify the load order it contains.

my screen rez was high here so yours is most likely not matching the games saved data...resolutions you can't go backwards.

What is your resolution? I can try changing and see if that works. About to head to work, so I'll have to update the save tonight.

ANd yeah, I have it modded to be difficult -- but there's difficult, and then there's killer rain inside. :D
