pablosplinter Posted July 2, 2011 Share Posted July 2, 2011 Hi everyone. I have nearly finnished an epic playthrough of Fallout 3 with many mods, around 110 hours in. I am going to start on New Vegas soon and i would like some advice on which mods to use, specifically on compatability with overhaul mods. These are the gameplay mods which have caught my eye so far. I would very much appreciate it if anyone could advise me as to whether they are all compatible with eachother, and if not, which ones i can not use: Also, some of the mods i am considering might already be covered by one of the big overhauls. 1.Project Nevada2. Fook NV3.A World of Pain4. Monster mod5. New Vegas restoration6.Electro City7.Realistic repair8.Project Ultimatum9.Immersive Karma10. Increased wasteland spawns Also, are there any others which you would recommend? Thank you. I might ask a few more questions about compatability, as there are so many mods i would like to try, it is quite overwhelming! Oh and Fellout or Nevada skies? But i use AWOP and IWS and MoMod together; there's even a patch so that u can use IWS and MoMod in the underground area of AWOP. Project nevada has the potential to conflict with a lot of smaller stuff and i used it for a while. I know that it conflicts with Advanced recon armor on the HUD, and thats the only reason i got rid of it. If you FOMOD install project nevada and go to the menu, it will show all of the things it does and you can see what it has the potential to conflict with. as far as fellout Vs nevada skies, thats a personal preference; i prefer nevada skies but you'll see just as many endorsments on both. But i use the URWL nevada skies with the Darker nights for URWL mod. While your at it though, you might check out Shrapnel:http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37342 Its BoE 'esque and ads tons of real guns to the game. There's also a patch for shrapnel to be used on AWOP. I have basically looked through the Nexus top 100 lists of all of different categories and i've made a list of around 70 mods which i am interested in. I really liked FOOK2 in FO3, so i will look to use t again, I will have to find out what it actually incorporates though, as in FO3 it actually included Fellout and Streetlights and a few other mods which might be on my list also. In the description, they say that FOOK is compatible with Project Nevada core and rebalance modules. I think the best thing would be to load up a game with the major overhaul mods and see if any of the smaller mods i am looking at are already used in one of them.
