Why is it that Companions seem to get stuck on stairs and /or pop around. I see this mostly with Veronica more then the rest, but thay do it to. It dosent matter if its a player mod or a Vanilla game stairs.... :wallbash:

I'm making my own player home and dont want this to happen there. SO how would I go about this? any help would be greatful, this will be my 1st mod built from the ground up. and Not tweeking a prebuilt one.. :unsure:

I think the navmesh needs to be skimming the edges of the steps and not clipped by them. At least, that's how I've seen examples of it in the geck. Also, make sure the navmesh is finalized, and when you are all done, esm-ify your mod.

from what i understand, the navmesh basically is a set of collision planes, so just think of it as an invisible static;

meaning: if you just cover your stairs with like a navmesh-ramp, like you would lay a plank over them or something, your npc's feet will get stuck if ever they get in the space between. (i'm pretty sure this is the main reason there are no _really_ small creatures)
