Ok I'm making a custom skin tint using Gimp. I some what can make the body and hand tint right but when I do the head it comes out blues black. what I did was take BOG skin texture and I want to give it a color tinting to make it greenish tint to it. I took the hands, head and body texture(.dds file) made a new layer made it transparent green them merge it down, Like I would for a tattoo, Which I have done many times. then I would place in the texture files. Open up the GECK to work on the Custom race and every thing but the head would be like it should be ...but the head would be a blueish black....... any help on why this is happening and a fix OR point me to a How to do skin textures ....would be helpful.

Basically I'm looking for a Tutorial on how to give a follower a second storage, so I can give the follower items but he/she will not use it. I know "Sofia- The Funny Fully Voiced Follower" has one and Willow in FONV has one too. Thxs up front for any help.

O.K. when I go to work on a NPC, or to tweek/make a NPC/Companion I get the Following just as the race load into the CK: ASSERT file C:_skyrim\code\TESV\BSShader\Shaders\BSLightingshaderproperty.cpp line 806 The NPC/companion looks fine in the CK but when i see them in game there head is a tone of light brown but there body is the right skin tone for race. I downloaded the CK from the Stream down load site and it is the most up to date one there. I was wandering if there is a Patch or something that i'm missing. any help would be nice thxs in advance. :biggrin:

I know about Armed to the teeh mod, I'm looking for one that is simpler to use. one that would put any 1H weapon you have equiped on your back like a 2 H weapon.... :D thxs for any help.

Going in or out of doors and getting stuck in the load screen and having to Ctrl - alt - delete to kill the game and reload. the Pic and Tip/info and smoke keep doing there thing but it wont load to the new area Im moving to. I've just did a fresh Install, ran boss, Tes5edit, tweeked it here and there.....any help would be nice thank

Ok this only happens when I'm running around outside and fast traveling mostly. This starded up after the 1.8 update. Ok system info Quad Core 4.1Gig (hybred Crossfire I think too) AMD Radeon 7700 Series (up to date driver ) 4Gig memery Windows 7 (latest update and Pack) NMM what I've done: Ive ran Boss (latest Ver) Moved esp's as needed Ran TES5 and Cleaned as needed turned off Mods and one at a time turned back on to see if its one of them, no luck there (around 40 esp mods totel) checked DiretX (up to date) what ive seen See Pic at end Sometimes on a CTD I well find all me esm/esp well be uncheck in NMM Its gotten to the point I dont want to play Skyrim anymore, and help well be greatfull... http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg93/trcsimperfi/2012-11-14_00002.jpg

I'm looking a mod or info on How to change the UI/HUD color. I have trouble seeing the Gray color unless its on a dark background..... I have seen a few Mods that change the UI/HUD Fonts, Crosshairs ect ect But none of them change the Color. Any Constructive Info would be helpful

the Ones off the top of my head are the Alteration Spells that opened Locks..... But im sure there more.

I have Retrieved the instirments and returned them to the NPCs but thay wont take the Instirments or train me. is there a work around....... I would use "player.removeitem <ID>" But i dont kow the ID's of the Insirments......

this only happens when playing my Khajiit and not when I'm playing my Orc or Nord. this all started after I reached lvl 8/9 on my Khajiit. I will get a CTD 8 out of 10 times when ever going through Doors/openings and when I fast travel (zoning). I have played around with game settings but that came up fruitless. any constructive help would be helpful.

I'm looking for a way to make a costum skin tone. I have seen player mods with Green skin (Star trek mod, Orion and Borg) or Red skin like the mod "A Devilish Mod WIP"mod or black like in "The Sunlanders" mod. Evey time I try it using GIMP I end up making a mess of it. any constructive help would be useful.... thxs :biggrin: EDIT....I found my Mistake, I over looked one little item :wallbash: .....Now i feel like a idiot. the only problem I having now is when i put on armor my hand texture goes away, th armor gloves are there just no skin tone...

Weee Ok the Comments are working now :dance: also the Down loads are working now as well :dance: But I got a double download twice, after I downloaded the file it would ask me again to download the same file again, but i was trying to download a option file at the same time both times. 1st off I love the new look, took me a little while to get use to the new layout :thumbsup: now for the other part. I'm using IE8, becouse my system cant use IE9 (stuped Windows XP :laugh: ) the problem with the comments, is fustrating. Also on the images I cant veiw them very well, the story ones that is, thay dont veiw large to read them. But the one problem that reared its ugly little head this morning is that I can no longer down load files. I was able to down load up to yesterday after sellecting the files 3 times to get them to down. I know your are working on these and other problems but I havent seen any update in awhile. and to quote a little guy "May The Schwartz be with you" ..Yogurt saddly this is the only way I can post a comment, becouse the "Post a Comment" doesent work for me ether

Having the same issue here Time Ranger. Always crashes on any save, tried disabling all mods making a clean actual hard save, then re-enabling all mods an going forward didn't solve the issue. Googled looking for some insight and found out about the killing yourself work around, though it worked...it seemed like a temp/quick fix the problem would resurface later on. I did as quicksilvera suggested and found that all of my hard/actual saves and autosaves were (.fos , .fos.bak) as they should be, but one of my quicksaves was the dreaded ".tmp", deleted that and reloaded from a hard/actual save fixed the issue for a time. About 30m of game time later and quicksaving every 5m or so I crashed again, looked immediately at my saves and the quicksave had once again shown ".tmp" so the issue seems to be re-occurring intermittently. Just now I ran FO3MasterUpdate (2 mods had errors so they have to remain .esp). From past experience, every time I experience a crash in Fallout I go to my event viewer (win7 64bit OS) and see if I get any insight. Below is what I got. Thinking our issues are related kinda wondering what if anything your event viewer says. Well I'm running Windows XP and couldnt find it in my event viewer. I do have Smart ram running and all CTD, 98% anyway are from Memery spikes, and show that i only have around 500M unused at the time of the CTD. I am planing on upgrading my Memery here in the next week or two, and Im hopping that helps

Will Killing yourself and letting the game reload your save seems to work :thumbsup: . Also read the RIvit City can Couse CTD and ofther problems for Comps with Low Mem like me (2G).......

thxs for the Info Quicksilverva. I had no .tmp files and I reran FO3edit. Now to see if this fix fixed it :biggrin:

:wallbash: On any type of save I do, auto, quick, or hard save the game CTD. Ive check my load order, ran FO3edit (no problems there) and check my fallout3.ini file I'm using a custum race (skinny-6). I've had this happen before on other toons and after a while I cant load them with out a CTD :wallbash: any help would be nice

I had CASM but it did not play well for some reason...After about 15-20 hours of game play any type of game save I would get a CTD :wallbash: I had to re-install the game lucky for me i had a copy of the Date file back up :tongue:
