SnowQueen
This didn't work for me. The esm mods aren't appearing & the esp disappear. The plugins.txt rewrites itself, so I have no way of fixing it.
janchek1
Hello everybody. I didn't want to create another page with similar problems so I am writing on this one. Yesterday i have reinstalled the game due 1.5 patch problems with mods and went back on 1.4 version. So i downloaded all mods again. Now i have problems with weaponsmith extended because i can only craft weapons but modding them is impossible. In older version i had no such problems. Also not all installed weapon mod are shown in menu such as R91 rifle and so on. Is there any solution?
ElektraMycenas
I'm having this same problem. No matter what asterisking I do, no matter what's checked or not checked, no matter whether I reinstall EVERYTHING.... I still get the "YOU ARE MISSING MODS YOU IDIOT" window when I try to load a save.

vulcan78
Are you using the newest version of the game or the Survival Beta? I haven't been home yet today but I'm told the newest version changed the way you activate mods. 1) Install your mods with Nexus Mod Manager2) Close your mod manager.3) Find "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt", right click > properties > uncheck "read only"4) Open "plugins.txt"5) Add an asterisk before all .esp mods. Your plugins.txt list should look something likeFallout4.esmDLCrobots.esm*Console-enable.esp*Coolmod.esp(you may place any other .esp here with an * before it, .esm should NOT have an *) 6) Save "plugins.txt"7) Find "plugins.txt", right click > properties > check "read only" Load FO4 WITH THE VANILLA GAME LAUNCHER NOT NMM. You must then repeat this process every time you make any changes to your mod list or open Nexus Mod Manager. Yes, every time. It's annoying but until they updated NMM this is how you must do it. I just wanted to thank-you for this information, I couldn't get a few of my mods with .esm's top work and this fixed it: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/281/
