Utyran
I'am working on some lore friendly oldshool armors, back from the Fallout 1 and 2 games. At the moment i'am working on the Leather Jacket at the Moment, but i can't create new models or even cut old ones into parts because GMAX won't accept the .Nif plugin and at all isn't helpfull. So i would request three things. 1. Is there anything or anyone working on something as Tailor Maid for New Vegas and the DLC's except Watto44 ? Something like Tailor Maid or other Mods which include single Model parts would be realy helpfull.Or maybee someone could help me get GMAX to work with .Nif. Because the most work would be to cut and slim down armor parts. Create something new is not necessary. 2. Is anyone working on the Motorcycle Football Leather Armor from Fallout?http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20050209033311/fallout/images/8/87/LAMk1.gif http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/4/4a/Npc_leather.gif _ http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/8/89/Larmors.gif http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20050209033322/fallout/images/7/71/LAMk2.gif 3. Is there such thing as a "Fallout Modding Forum" where i could get some advice and help?
hadoumastery
Lots of people actually try to remake the old which I happen to like. And you can probably find a bunch of people supporting this, (btw I miss the oldschool leather jacket it was more stylish, you just need to cut the left arm of the jacket off to make it really and have the legs re-tex to black) Hope this gets more support, let me know if I can help, I am good for NIFskope editing and the original geck modding. Lucky you and me i have such a arm cut model already found on nexus.
nivea
Why not just skip GMAX and use Blender? Its free and pretty simple to use to cut up armors.

I don't get it how to import and export .Nif files. You need the nif export/import scripts: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12248Has all the items you need to start working with blender.
