SkyTaylor21
Well I consider myself pretty smart and I would recommend manual installations for certain people, but it's all a matter of preference.

Thats cool but telling someone new to install things manually is just plain bad advice. And as i mentioned before even for a seasoned modder using a mod manager of some kind is generally the best route. makes installing, unintalling, and keeping track of your mods much easier. A tool like MO and Wrye Bash even allows you to determine what overwrites what......good luck with your manual installs tho
bobg
Mods I would recommend to anyone: All Natural (a weather mod includes matching interior lighting)Immersive Interiors (see the outside from interior windows. Even see if it's raining without leaving the house)Get Wet (It's raining so why don't you look wet?)Vilja (A very talkative companion)CM Partners (Companions to fight by your side.)Harvest Flora (plants show that they have been harvested by missing blossoms, leaves, etc They grow back)Mounted Spellcasting (just what it says)Keychain (collect all those keys in your inventory under one icon)StalkerXFG (stop shop keepers and Fighters Guild porters from following you around)Windows Lighting System (Town windows light up at night and chimneys smoke)Enhanced Hotkeys (Greatly extends hotkey functionality. change into armor with one key. Cast multiple spells)Portable Campsite (a tent, campfire, stool, storage bag, and cooking pot) Mods I like but might not appeal to everyone; City Life-x117 (populate the cities)Actors In Charge (your character can be seen eating, reading, making potions, making faces, etc)Slof's Horses ( Horses have saddlebags. Corralled horses are unsaddled. New models added)Inventory is a Backpack (carry a nice looking backpack to explain all that gear you have in your inventory) I have a few more that I won't mention because they have gotten a bad reputation despite their innocence or are banned from the forum because they may use content from previous Elder Scrolls copyrighted material. Some of these are among my favorites.
