Tedward61194
I recently joined a LARPing group (associated with Dagorhir) and I need a persona with a name. I thought what better language to inspire awe and fear into the hearts of my enemies then Draconian, however, when I tried to search for a English to draconian translator, I couldn't find anything (except for one that isnt the same as TES Draconian). Is there any online translator for this that you know of community? Thanks.
AltreU
Sorry buddy, but I don't think there are any such translators. I can't think of any media (none for Dungeons & Dragons) that would list out the Draconic alphabet or that would compare it to English.
MarshyMan
You can go to the Skyrim hub at gaminformer.com and do the "Translating the Cover" activity. That gives a Dragon lettering key that you could use to create a name, but you can only create Dragon words. So you could create a name that SOUNDS cool but you have no idea what it means. Pentigan
The back of the strategy guide had one, listed the various runes and pretty much every word used in the game at release with associated meaning. Seeing as it's a print publication, it hasn't been updated for the new words added in Dawnguard.
gsmanners
Dragon "language" as it exists in the Elder Scrolls sounds to my ears like baby talk. Barely a few hundred words? Come back and talk to me when it gets up to a few hundred thousand words.
