ManehattanProject
Is this issue found only in NV or in FO3 as well? I could be wrong, but I think this was primarily caused by Obsidian introducing a new music system into the game replacing/bypassing the base one in FO3, so I think it's specific to FONV. JimboUK
Is this issue found only in NV or in FO3 as well? FO3 is fine, it uses the old music sets, Obsidian introduced a convoluted system for New Vegas that appears to be broken.

JimboUK
Has anyone tired OGG instead of MP3? I'm too busy and the moment to set a test up and see for myself.
RoyBatterian
Maybe have a look at Music Restoration by MadCat221 , it uses the mp3's from fallout 1/2 to restore some of the music and they don't skip.
