Game crashes each time in Goodsprings

Hi, someone help me, please, i cannot track this bug down for life!

 

This is the loadorder i can play the game with in goodspring and no crashes:

Then i added more mods and it started to crash at goodsprings.

This are the mods i added and it did crash, then i removed them again

 

and so i was back at the exact same loadorder as mentioned at the very top, but still it crashes at goodsprings,

even tho it should be the very same setup, that worked before including weather mod and all of it! Why does it not work this time around?

 

I dont understand this.

 

Fnvedit does not tell me of any conflicts in the goodspring cell.

No ini changes, no junk in the data folder as far as i can tell, absolute nothing i can detect.

 

The only thing i do not mention here are texture replacers, but they were also part of the loadorder before

and it did work fine with them.

 

So yeah, naturally kudos for anyone who can help me make it work again.

A while back the same thing happened to me. I solved it by disabling Nevada Skies completely, loading up the game and saving it while the mod was off. Then just reactivate it and restart the game. If that doesn't work, try disabling the other mods that visually alter the game like Cinematech and Dynavision. If both fail, then try running the game vanilla and slowly begin adding mods to the load order until you find the culprit. Should it still CTD, the problem may lie elsewhere.

 

It may be that there's a conflict NVEdit doesn't pick up. Because that's happened a few times with FO3 that I can remember. Tracking down mods that cause the game to crash is usually a major pita.

WME work fine so you don't have to worry and I'm using WMX as well with WMVM. cinematech,dynavision and nevada skie you should disable and try out the game see if it CTD after 5-15min in goodsprings. Keep doing fast-travel and go in-out of cell countless of time till you think after 15min no CTD and move on.

 

I not sure why you got 2 Weapon Mod Expansion.esp and Weapon Mod Expansion.esm, i wonder did you use before WMX and deleted.

 

Mods with esp that need esm to work-out try to maintain on top and standalone esp can move last.

 

Those add-on UI something like Grenade-Hotkey or add-on HUD try to disable as well. (Very buggy when enter cell)

 

Note: Basically if i would you i will start with all WME mods with Project nevada and see if you crash after 20min moving around. Than add one by one to see which give you the crash.

Yeah thanks, i will try and rebuild the whole thing without the visual mods this time,

if that should be indeed the culprint here.

Although the question still remains why it did work with them in the first place.

Played quite a while with the loadorder i posted and no error.

When you play your old save-game after you deleted a weapon/textures/clothes mods and re-load again in a certain timing you will get random CTD and that is for sure.

 

Try to start a new game with fresh mods installed if you deleted some mods cause some mods after deleted memory of the old save game will tend to look-out the deleted mods with texture/mesh/UI/HUD icon.

Shojo crashes

having problems here. Similar to some of these guys from your shojo vid. maybe you can help?

Now it seems when I unclick someone of these it doesn't matter. It seems to crash the game even if I don't choose a SHOJO race. I tried making a rugged male, i leave out Doc's place it crashes. If I manage to not crash. I save the game, and exit. I reopen the game and load the game outside doc's and it crashes. If I play a bit I go into a store or saloon and exit back to Good Springs and it crashes.
I don't know where I went wrong here...I did have CotW on here, and I think that's where it all went down hill. It seemed to work fine when I started doing it and than I exited to GS and it crashed....that's when I did step 2...made a male...went around...tried to fast travel to GS it crashed. OK...so step 3...I went outside with the male and didn't fast travel to GS...I walked to it and as soon as I saw the CotW shop game crashed. SO I removed CotW mod...and it's been buggy as hell crashing regardless. Even when I unchecked mods like shojo etc. and others. I even did a run through clicking 1 at a time on and off...crash crash in GS.

I can't even use Angelic Veronica that immediately crashes the game on start.

I did start from new with clean saves to try and it crashes.

odd part is...my old old saves with just casca face, skinny 6, cobra, gunrunner, unlimited comp, guns, mikoto and readius load just fine...and I can enter GS fast travel and walk in...
