suzypike
Hi Everyone, I decided to do a clean reinstall of Morrowind- which I've done twice before (successfully) following online directions. However, this time I have Oblivion installed, running well, and am in the middle of a game that I definitely don't want to lose. Before, it was easy. I just pretty much exterminated anything by Bethesda. This time, I am afraid of messing my Oblivion game up, so it's not going to be that easy. So far I have uninstalled Morrowind, deleted the Morrowind folder from the Bethesda folder and run CCleaner to clean out my registry. Is there anything else I need to do before I try a clean reinstall? Thanks! suzy
Herculine
Morrowind and Oblivion both have their own separate folders in the Bethesda Softworks directory; you can totally delete one without harming the other.

So what I have done already is adequate? Before, I deleted all of Bethesda from the registry. I can't do that this time- just was hoping CCleaner would catch the registry stuff this time. Herculine
Yes (I think). I use CCleaner as well; it should catch anything that might have caused you any problems in the registry.
