looks like it'd be more fun if there was a LAN'd multi-player version but that's probably 100+ hours more of coding and scripting. still though looks like something i could mess around with other then going to yet another settlement that Preston has sent me to.

Can't believe I didn't see this coming. Haven't been playing the game for some time, or lurking around the Forums much: this video is my first glimpse of the project. Great idea, looks like a great start to the execution too. Your phraseology cracks me up: "We're also gonna test the anti-kill-each-other mechanic..."

Work like yours is gonna ensure that, just like with Skyrim, I will never approach completion of the vanilla main story. Cheers!

Lol I've only been working on it since teusday I think :P But had it in mind for a few months at the least

I'd totes be willing to test it : )

 

P.S. I've been struggling to get magically effects to successfully apply to projectiles. How did you get the slow effect to apply to those orbs?

HUE HUE

 

conal trigger box applied on translate complete and moved to relative position so size=orb then on enter the cone fires a instantaneous projectile that has the effect applied to them

 

IE the orb isn't so much a slow field as a detection radius to apply a slow effect
