lanceuppercut47 Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 any mod out there that adds a bit of dynamic lighting to the game? for example if i fire a non supressed weapon, my character would light up an area due to muzzle flash and missiles would also have a bit of dynamic lighting to it too. Jeoshua Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 (edited) I mean, it might be possible to "trick" the engine into loading a light instead of a mesh... but I'm equally sure that even tho this could happen, that it would immediately cause crashes or other glitches. Although.... Anyone ever played MMM? the Corpse bugs have lights attached somehow. Worth looking into. If you could change the rocket model to have a similar light attached to it, it would light up surrounding areas. Not sure about the muzzle flash tho. If I understand the method correctly, the gun itself would have to be modified, and would emit light constantly. Meaning you'd have a constantly glowing gun. I've never looked into it, but it always seemed to me the lights just show up near where the corpse bugs are. Not sure if they're really attached.
